I help my husband run a commercial Christmas decorating business www.BlueSkyDecor.com. I do some design & install but my main role is a parts runner. What is that? I literally drive all over town looking for strange items such as Gaffers tape, obscure nuts & bolts, and even twigs & berries. Sounds easy. Not when you have a 25 man crew working on the clock and tight deadlines. I have been known to make over 20 trips to Lowes and Home Depot in one day!
I am forever in the middle of several home improvement DIY projects, inventing, cooking, gardening and painting. It is so exciting to get this blog running.
